Going back to Boston
March 6, 2008
It’s been quite some time since I last updated this. These past few weeks have been quite hectic, as midterms and UGBC elections have taken over my life. I was re-elected to Senate for my third term and also re-elected to serve as Vice President for my second term. Additionally, the campaign I was on for UGBC President and Vice President also was victorious. While a long, ardrous, heated, passionate and sleepless process, it definitely was an enjoyable experience and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the people that I was working with and I am excited about next year. My midterms went okay. I can’t decide if I am just stupid or I just don’t care enough in some classes. I know that sounds bad but for whatever reason I am just not interested in some of the classes that I am taking. When it rains it pours, as my last hell week I had 5 exams, and next week when I get backĀ I have 2 tests and two quizzes before Easter Break.
I’m currently back in Rochester on Spring Break. While It has been good to sleep, study and get work done there really isn’t much else to do around here. But I also have sincerely enjoyed my time with my family over the past few days. We went out to dinner a few times and I also went to a basketball game with my father. It was good to see them as I had not in two months, and I might not until July.
I’ve been here since last Friday and I intend on driving back to Boston tomorrow. I have a couple of meetings on Friday and I plan on doing some additional studying and some group UGBC work. I have a busy week next week and I want to make sure I get off on a good start.
